Student-Athletes Sign NCAA Letter of Intent

Student-Athletes Sign NCAA Letter of Intent On Friday, December 15, five Longwood High School student-athletes, along with their coaches and family, gathered to participate in a signing ceremony.  The students recently signed their National Letters of Intent to play sports at the college level.

Jake Murphy will be attending Long Island University/LIU Post to play lacrosse, while teammate Robert Lopez will play lacrosse at Molloy College.  Emily Koerick will attend New York Institute of Technology to play softball, and teammate Gabriella Vicidomini will play softball at Queens College.  Jarred Vanderhoof will attend St. Thomas Aquinas College to play baseball.

Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics Gina Curiale wished the students luck in their transition into college athletics.

“On behalf of the entire Athletic Department, I wish you all continued success as you participate in athletics on the next level,” said Mrs. Curiale. “I look forward to tracking your achievements next year on the lacrosse, softball and baseball fields.”
